From time to time there's a teeny tiny little voice in me that dictates the things I would pass on to a youngin, if I ever have my own: "Life is your own" is one I truly believe. "Understand another before judgement" is one I confess, my own fears sometimes (always) get in the way of, but this thought always prevails with time. "Everything you do is ok, for you." A tough one to allow for anyone. Of course doesn't apply to, like, evil people... And importantly - even most importantly - I learned a big truth from a very good friend - "art is therapy". Though never expressed in words, is something I learned through observation. And lastly "you should have gone before we left". Because I do this to myself all the time.

When I roll up my shirt sleeves in the morning, I find sleeve one to be rolled to perfection, as if my skills in shirt sleeve rolling were bestowed upon me from ancient sleeve rolling magi.... but when I roll sleeve two it's more like I was trained by daffy duck.

My landlord is renting the house next door to me and being somewhat computer illiterate asked me to post ads on Craigslist and kajiji for him. He called me today because he wondered if 2200 for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house was too much and if he should feel bad asking for that. Awww. Sweet guy. I told him no, ummm, no.

I spend a lot of time thinking about characters names in movies. I've always felt George Lucas had naming down pat - creating amazing reflective names for his characters. I think when naming a character, it's important to choose a name the emanates the very core of said character. I can tell when it's overshot as well, when a forced name is chosen for its active impression. Villains names for me, work best when the names are still and unpresuming. Mr. Glass is cool. Bob Franklin is not. So, yeah, names...

Accidentally tore a ketchup pack down the center. Oh man, so brutal, trying to squeeze ketchup out that way just doesn't work. I was left with globs of ketchup built up on either side - had to try and spread the ketchup. Ketchup all over my hands.. sigh. I know there's a lot going on in the world and that there are important things people need to think about. But man, this ketchup thing needs to be stopped.
