I spend a lot of time thinking about characters names in movies. I've always felt George Lucas had naming down pat - creating amazing reflective names for his characters. I think when naming a character, it's important to choose a name the emanates the very core of said character. I can tell when it's overshot as well, when a forced name is chosen for its active impression. Villains names for me, work best when the names are still and unpresuming. Mr. Glass is cool. Bob Franklin is not. So, yeah, names...
