I've been a working professional for a long time now. However, one thing I will NEVER get used to is the phrase "coming down the pipe". Its amazing how much that phrase is used... and honestly, does no one recognize how... gross... that sounds? I'm all for new work arriving. Not so stoked at the image of work coming out of a "pipe" and plopping on me though...
